"Your plan does sound more effective. We can easily overpower this Madden and woman, but as for mother..." Last time they all clashed it was very difficult just to get her away from the android. Fighting her will be a challenge, not even JYU can take her head-on.

"We would have to deactivate the signal that Beau emits. Just until she is unconscious enough. Are you certain you will be able to handle the android on your own? KYU can help." Deep down inside JYU could feel so many new things she has never felt before, was this distrust?

"I am in no need of assistance. I am of the same make as the other android but I have not been damaged nor manipulated by the virus. If you are unsure of your ability to take in your "mother" than you will need all the help you can muster. If what you have is not enough then I will contact the Apothecary requesting added assistance." She keeps an uncaring attitude and completely dominant. She never lacks in confidence.

She reaches inside her pocket and pulls out a long tube and twists a metal disc to the end. "This is a miniature EMT emitter. This disrupts all electrical signals and shuts down electronic machinery. It is not large enough to interrupt anything over 25 feet away, but it's strong enough to completely disable the android's signal to the virus. It may cause some interference with the android, but it will not stop him so do not rely upon that." She points to the a long switch on the side. "Slide this button up and it will activate. This is a one time impulse so you will have once chance. If you do not feel this is enough I will try to obtain a secondary emitter," she informs them of their secret weapon.

"Are there any other questions?"

So far there aren't many options they could take; they were losing numbers and somehow, for the first time, the deaths of their comrades are effecting JYU. She has grown insecure about her capabilities, why would she doubt? Jyu had never doubted herself or anyone around her. In her heart she wants to believe that all of them are capable of achieving their goal, but all these new things emerging all at once are clouding her better judgement.

She takes the emitter and hooks it up to her belt. It may prove to be efficient for them. "Thank you. I think it would be best to have a second one." With all cards on the table JYU orders HACHI to keep track on their enemies, the rest will stay out of sight and on their targets tail.

"We will stay in touch." Like that they all disappeared.

It's as if reality has been converged into a really terrible, rated R, psycho movie. Juliet could at any time of the day lose her control over her body and appear naked with another man or worst in public. If this isn't torture then what else could it be?

Once fully clothed she emerged from behind the counter. Though her face was still looking like blood force trauma, even more so when Beau commented on the mole Juliet has where the sun never shines. Which meas... he saw her in her birthday suit. "WHAT!?" For a moment she felt like fainting, but didn't. Juliet covered her entire embarrassed face."Oh my gosh! I wanna die!" SHeran toward the bed and submerged herself under the sheets. "You better forget what you saw or you are sleeping on the futon tonight. What did it tell you?"

Juliet's freak-out reaches an all time high when she dashes across the room, dives into the bed, and buries herself in the blankets. It takes everything in Beau not to drop his cigarette out of mouth as he stifles a laugh.

"You better forget what you saw or you are sleeping on the futon tonight. What did it tell you?" She demands.

"I don't think I can forget such cute little features." He teases.

He sits on the futon knowing he isn't going to sleep anyways, not now after talking to that virus. "You may want to stay under the covers, because I know you're not going to like what it told me."
He hesitates to tell her, because there's no tender way to tell it as if he knows how.
"Apparently, the virus used me to get you out, but we figured that out already. What's left I'm not going to sugar coat it. I can't say for sure if the virus is lying to mess with you, but truth tends to be stranger than fiction." He warns her. "It said that your entire life was a lie that the Apothecary put together around you like actors on a reality show. Guess you've been an experiment the whole time, your whole life, and they got inside your head so you couldn't remember any different. If I can find a way to search through my damaged head I can answer more questions. I know everything but I can't remember a thing." He blurts it all out.

He doesn't know what Juliet is thinking, but she's bound to be stunned. Its a lot to try and soak in that ones life may just be a twisted fairy tale. What can he say to make her feel better? There's not much he can do. Then a nasty thought comes to mind. "If um...your period starts you got to treat the drainage as biohazard material. Even a paper cut is dangerous to other humans. The virus said it could spread through the blood alone. So...we may need to start dropping our trash off at the hospital." He really can't think of a nicer way to put it and it sounds a little gross even to an inorganic life form like him.

For a moment there was silence... like the calm before the storm. The sound of the airconditioning silenced, her breathing was no longer audible and all she could hear was her heartbeat slowing down. My... whole life... has been... a lie?

Those whom she called father and mother... they were no such thing. Those whom she called friends were no such thing. Everyone around her were not who she thought were. How in the world did these Apothecary folk pull off such an orchestra? It was all so real. Everything she remembers was it all just a mirrage. Juliet now truely felt she could not ever, under any circumstances trust anyone in the world.

Juliet could not find the words to speak or even express her thoughts and feelings about the matter.

"If um...your period starts you got to treat the drainage as biohazard material. Even a paper cut is dangerous to other humans. The virus said it could spread through the blood alone. So...we may need to start dropping our trash off at the hospital."

She emerged from under the blankets, her face still a bit red. All she did to answer was nod. "I need some air." She put on some falts and went out.

There was a balcony outside the lobby that over looked a pool on the property. The breeze was cold and the sounds of the night city were so loud it hurt her head.

Beau can tell he upset her. The whole situation is upsetting to her, but hasn't a clue what to do for her. A sitcom would suggest sending her flowers, buying a box of chocolates, or performing a silly act of standing outside her window holding a boombox above his head.

He finishes his cigarette and walks to the balcony. "I'm going to buy more cigarettes. I won't be more than a block or two. Will you be okay by yourself?" He confirms.

Her lack of response lets him know she needs her space or as much as he can give her without her self destructing.

Outside it seems to be getting darker. He stares up at the sky from the hot sidewalk. Rain clouds are rolling in. He walks into a nice looking store and glances around. Inside it's a cute Hallmark type store. He glances over the cards then finds an adorable display of singing stuffed animals that bounce their heads back and forth. At the site of 1 of them screams Juliet to him. A chestnut brown puppy with bright blue eyes and a tongue that sticks out over a pink bow. When presses the paw the eyes light up and it sings:
"Snuggle-snuggle, fuzzy-fuzzy, I'm your big eyed lovey puppy. Bring you love and puppy kisses from someone who for you always misses." Corny but it works.

He walks over to the sweet wines and finds one of low alcohol content. He grabs a small bouquet of pink and white daffodils with a hint of tiny purple flowers he can't name. This seems really nice. It won't change a thing, but maybe it'll help her feel better like the girls on TV.

"Would you like a card with your flowers?" asks the cashier. Beau nods as he pulls out money. "What personal message do you want on it?"

Beau has to think about it. "Don't give up on yourself. You're not alone." The cashier looks at him for a moment with puzzlement, but doesn't question as she writes.

As he leaves a small roll of thunder sounds the coming rain. A heavy sprinkle drenches his hair as he tucks the gifts into his jacket as best he can. Though he had only been in the rain a moment he doesn't rush. Something about this cool rain feels nice on his synthetic skin. He pauses to look up at the sky. The droplets of water that hit upon his face are shine like gems.
Another roll of thunder booms overhead. Streaks of fluorescent blue lightning cut the clouds.

A bolt comes down at him. The light is blinding and suddenly he is gone.

Rain pours down like the day she awoke, dressed in rags and smelling like filth. With all the answers they obtained straight from the source of their problems, the city Juliet thought she knew, all the people that had a special place in her heart were not real at all.

Were my parent's the same?

Yes.

How do you know all about my reality?

Been living in your body since you were born. Only thing I could do was quietly observe.

More tears came down like drops of rain. Suddenly that feeling of fading into oblivion reappeared and Juliet knew what that meant.

"Ugh... Will you quit your crying! Your feelings of sorrow and despair drags even me down and I don't give a fuck about anything." The virus whiped away the tears that came down Juliet's brown eyes. Beau was gone for a few minutes. This was the perfect opportunity to try and fix people, maybe at least one.

He's an agent and him and him and him...

I guess you know everyone.

Not protesting this time?

What's the point?

Well it appears that Juliet has given up the fight. Perfect, more time for the virus to get her ambition done. Out at the empty pool the rain soaked her in seconds. Juliet's hair clinged to her body as tightly as her cloathing. All this humid atmosphere would serve well in the virus' favor. It's the pefect oportunity to spread, but first it needs to make an open wound in her host's skin. A wound big enough for blood to pour out.

She sat at the edge of the pool, dipping only her legs. The edge seemed rough enough to cause a scrape. I guess it could work. Juliet's wrist rubed forcefully along the edge of the pool, making an open wound. It kept going until blood began to pour out and drip into the pool. Yes... that's it... Now the pool was infected. Though it was unclear if her children will survive in clorine water. Her hand lifted up for her to see the self inflected wound that was slowly healing. Oopsie.

"Well my work here is done. Time to go back." Once again she showered herself. After that was done she went to bed, not bothering to put on pajamas or anything for that matter. Snuggled up under the sheets the virus withdrew for the night.

Children were playing in the play ground of the school. Little Juliet was among the kids, happily running around with her tiny friends. "Lesh go on da swingz!"

"Juliet, your mom and dad are here." Said her kindergarten teacher.

"Ok." Juliet was escorted outside. Her parents were there oddly dressed, wearing lab coats and their faces were all serious and unhappy. The little girl stopped in her tracks as she saw all the world around her convert from a school yard to what appeared to be a containment room from a laboratory. The room was totally white and only had a nightstand with a lamp and a twin size bed.

"Mom...? dad...?" Elenor and Shiro didn't speak a word as they and an android escorted her to another room. Everywhere around there were faceless people dressed in lab coats. "Wat arr we gonna doo today?" Juliet asked as she sat on the metal table.

"Same as we've been doing every day." Shiro took out all kinds of sharp objects. Another man walked through the doors, Takeru.

"How's our little fighter?" He asked as he went through their old notes from last week. So far the girl hasn't been able to progress on the count that she still needs Beau to keep the virus from killing her from the inside out, but the effects of the pathogen: rapid healing and increased immunity to fatal diseases.

Takeru let out a sigh of disappointment. "Nothing different, huh Julie?"

The little girl shook her head. "Shoo there haff been?"

"Well yes. You have to be able to live without Beau." He sat next to her on the table as he spoke to her.

"Buh... Beau ish my fwiend."

Everything faded to black and a new scenerio was painted before her. Juliet was back in her room decorated with glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and a hot pink carpeted floor. an entire wall was a mirror, a walking closet, a dresser with her friend's framed pictures and a stuffed animal sitting on it's corner.

"Juliet, time to get up." The teen girl crawled out of the blankets and stretched out and got up from the bed. When she opened her eyes she saw infront of her the same empty, white room. Through the only window it had she could see her reflection on the one way mirror. She was wearing white, long pants and a long sleeved, V-neck shirt that hung loose on her torso.

It was the same routine every day... every week: physical exams, being injected with all kinds of diseases that could be fatal to her, yet some how they never succeeded to take her life away. The scientists left her in a closed room after injecting her with another dose of the virus they had created. Inside the room Beau stood on a corner perfectly still and emotionless. Juliet talked to him about how sad she felt and wished she could have a life like the girls she had seen in the movies the scientists allowed her to watch.

"I wish I could have a nice looking boyfriend who would take care of me and stand by me no matter what... who will bring me gifts and say stupid things just to make me feel better and hug me when I'm crying... tell me everything's going to be ok..." A tear snuck out of her. "I wonder why they are doing this to me? Why me?" She droped her head and looked at her hands. "Have you ever questioned why they turned you into a cyborg?" She looked at him, not expecting him to answer. He almost never did and when he did... it was always something like: "it's for the greater good", "it's our duty"...

Juliet felt her temperature rising all around her, yet she was unable to awake. Beau? This knid of pain only happened when Beau wasn't near. Could something have happened to him? He wasn't going that far.

The ones and zeros continue along with the buzzing of electricity through his brain.
Humanity is traditionally made up of organic homo-sapiens, but could a once organic being still be human without an organic body?

"Dad, I'm joining the marines." Beau sits in front of his dad in his parents living room. His father is quiet for a moment and takes a sip of his cold beer. "I know I said I was just doing boot camp to get a higher education after serving for a few years, come home, become a cop, get married, and the whole nine yards, but dad that just ain't me." His dad slightly nods. "I was chosen to train into a special unit. It's so exclusive I can't even tell you what all we'll be doing." He sounds excited and nervous at the same time.

His father takes a long sip and sighs. "Ya tell your ma yet?" Beau shakes his head no. He glances at the kitchen then leans in close to his son. "Good, don't, I don't think her heart can take it. Ya just leave an don't tell her a thing I'll make an excuse so she knows ya'll alright. But ya be careful I don't want ya makin' a liar out of me." He sits back. "I want to see ya ass back here for Christmas."

"Yes, sir," he smirks.

That's right, I had parents, but how long ago was it? Are they even still alive?

Being a sniper that took down both war criminals and overlords made Beau super hero the world would never know about. His entire existence had become the shadows. No personal relationships, no emotions, and no failure.
At one point he had a foreign girlfriend. He was never good at other languages. Maybe it was because he was raised in the south but due to this they didn't have to talk much and had a lot of sex was the perfect relationship in his mind.

Life was about as perfect as it could get for a young man with nothing to lose until his final mission went bad. Granted he had killed his target, but he should've seen the bazooka one of the body guards was lugging around. Without a second thought for civilian casualties the brute let a rocket fly at the building he was perched upon. Running for his life he tries to jump to the next building, but the roof is collapsing beneath him and falls through.

The next thing he knows he's laying in a hospital bed unable to move. His spine had just about been severed in the fall and somehow the doctors condemned him to survive as the living brain.

Days blur together and soon there's a set of agents standing at the foot of his bed with two scientists reading his stats. Their offer to be their next great experiment is a mercy, because if he dies then he's free and if he lives he'll be mobile. Again, what did he have to lose?
"Let's do this." He growls.

Dad, I'm sorry, I must've given mom a heart attack when I turned up MIA. You'll never see your son again.

According to the world Beau had died and technically he had.

Ones and zeros-ones and zeros-his entire consciousness reduced to ones and zeros.
The next time he opens his eyes he's looking into a bright light, but it's far from any heaven. Sparks fly up here and there as his body is assembled.
There are no memories at first, no sense of humanity, time or space. The scientists poke and prod around his eyes to be sure he's responsive. Thin veins and are run down his body.  Robotic arms put weapons into place. His skin comes next, stretched over him in patches, then he's submerged into artificial, living, liquid skin to coat and fill the seams.

The next time he wakes up he's naked and in the best shape of his past life. Identical in every way with a few extra perks. The scientists are smiling and next to them is a good looking young woman with long dark orange hair dressed only in a hospital gown so her predominant breasts are obvious. Her eyes are a brilliant green that pierce through him with her empty scowl.

Gedra. . .so cold yet  the closest thing I had to a friend.

He rarely sees this woman who is almost his identical twin. Her missions stem into the real world gaining funds for the Apothecary. He on the other hand was built to be assigned to one mission alone.
"This is my life's greatest work. . ." Dr. Takeru informs him as he shows him the large test tubes that line the wall filled with bloody looking liquid and fetuses. Takeru places a hand on the largest fetus and with great admiration for this creatures ability to survive announces that this will be what Beau will be protecting when not acting as security or gathering sensitive materials for the Apothecary.

Juliet. . .he didn't start calling her that till after she was "born" to be sure her serial number wasn't a reject that needed to be flushed into acid like the others. Maybe that would have been the more merciful thing to do?

Watching her grow inside a lab, hearing her cry from the painful shots and samples they would take desensitize him. She is not quite a human and he knows he isn't human anymore so it doesn't matter.
She always attempts to involve him in her childish antics or activities like coloring or games.
He doesn't want to get attached. She isn't even real.

So then why did I help her escape?

The light is dim and red. A thin female body rides him. Her lips come towards him. . .a sweet kiss to bestow, but in his peripheral he can see tools in her hands-tools meant for him to change him to her will. . .
The fucking virus. . .

Re: Apothic Yellow: Revelation

Post  Rose Kiss on Sat Nov 09, 2013 5:40 pm

Every day of her life was a cycle that refused to break. Nothing different ever happened, nothing at all. Back and forth she went from her empty room to the lab and from the lab back to her empty room. Occasionally, after being introduced to an improved version of the pathogen, she was left, locked inside, alone with Beau.

"Juliet, come we have to get to the lab." Said Elenor.

It was easier to do the work when Juliet was a little girl, but now she has grown into a teenager and at this age kids start to act out.

"No!" Juliet burried herself in the blankets.

After several failed attempts to get her to come out of her room Beau had to step in and drag her out by force. Juliet began to struggle in his arms: kicking and thrashing around.

"Lemme go! Don't touch me! Lemme go you bastard!" During the middle of the struggle Juliet slammed him against the wall without any effort, making a huge crack on the concrete.

This shocked everyone even Juliet, but she didn't care. All the girl wanted was to be left alone. "Don't EVER touch me again!"

Upon seing this new ability granted by the virus, Juliet had to be sedated every time she had to go through her usual routine. Though they tried to devolve the agent, it was all in vain. It only made the virus even more violent... and so did Juliet.

One night Juliet was slaming herself against every wall in her room as if trying to escape. The next morning she was taken to the psychologist. During the session she kept claiming she could hear an evil voice in her head telling her to do as it said. When they showed her the footage of her hurting herself, Juliet said she didn't recall any of it. The doctor said that she was finally losing her mind. In fact it was a miracle she made it this far without attempting to commit suicide.

Suddenly all the scenerio around her began to change. She was in a different room, it was dark. Her entire body was feeling so hot she could probably burst into flames. Her eyes looked down between her skinny, sweaty legs where Beau's hard cock was being devoured by her untouched cave. Juliet pulled Beau into a sitting position, their naked bodies pressed against one another, their bodies so hot it could be an inferno. Juliet slowed as she accessed Beau's cpu, reprogramming him, making him her new slave.

"You'll do whatever I say."She whispered into his ear and licked him down his neck."Mmm... aaahhhh... you're deliscious. So well made. Yes!" The virus, though unknown to the scientists, was able to control it's host, Juliet. Even speak through her.

Now that Beau was under her complete control. She ordered him to attack anyone that tried to stop them from escaping. Beau, without any choice did as she commanded.

The fever was getting worse. If somethig happened to Beau there was nothing Juliet could do. No matter how hard she tried to awake, it was all for naught. I don't feel so good. Slowly she felt every part of her body get weaker. This impossible pain coursed through her like a train was crushing her. Beau! Where are you!?

His vision becomes red.

Juliet and protecting the virus is his only mission.

All who approach are enemies.

Guards swarm after them firing at will at Beau, but standing down anytime Juliet is in range until the orders come through not to let them escape by any means necessary.

Lazers and bullets fly.
Juliet knocking everything out of the way while Beau takes the brunt of any hits.
A dead end.
A bazooka gun aimed right at them.
Beau shields Juliet and then. . .the high pitch ringing and fuzz of a TV channel offline.

That's where our story begins. . .the real story between two experiments who learned how to become human again.
